Airport Lounges
I think our tally so far is 11 airport lounges - 6 airline and 5 at general.
I started booking them as they were actually value for money, especially with different diets to cater for.
More recently I book them because it avoids the hassle of finding somewhere to settle, you can eat and drink when you arrive or just before you depart (or in my case both and in-between) and on the cost of a holiday, they aren't really that much more expensive.
Some airlines provide really fancy business class lounges such as Emirates, but many airports provide paid to enter lounges for anyone that wants to pay to visit.
Out of the paid lounges the
Aspire Lounge Manchester T1 and the
Escape Lounge Manchester T2 are my 'go to' lounges.
You might find a lounge is included for free or you might treat yourself to entry.
We do enjoy the space, not worrying about how much is being spent and the guaranteed seating of lounges.
They are also useful when travelling with people with dietary requirements as the lounges are usually quite good and supporting with these needs.
