Bergen, Norway

A pretty city on the coast that can easily be explored on foot in a weekend that is easily accessible from Bergen Airport to City via cheap and efficient public transport.

There's the traditional wooden built buildings of the Bryggen fishing area with the castle further along the road.

For the active a trip up the funnicular and a walk around the Floyen mountain area to the hidden cafes is a treat.

Saunas from which you can launch yourself into the freezing cold water of the Ffjords; Ice Bars for when you are not cold enough and delicious traditional food in the fish market and hidden bars.

And when you want a rest a trip upthe ffjord on one of the boats to see the stunning scenery is a must.
