Prague, Czech Republic
Prague, a medieval city with it's famous astronomical clock tower that is easily walkable.
In December Prague hosts its renown
Christmas Markets.
Not simply a few stalls in a town square, but loads of huts scattered all over the city, in small and large groups.
Festive treats, decorations and in the Old Town Square plenty of entertainment.
Prague castle at the top of the hill over the Vltava River commands impressive views with a land train to take you to the top, or trams to get you near.
The old town square is full of pizzas, bars, traditional food and more at night, whilst crowds gather to watch the astronomical clock chime the hour.
You can even pay to ascend the tower to witness the tourist spectacle from within.
And when you are ready to put your feet up wander over to the
Slivovitz museum for a very enjoyable tasting session or even take advantage of one of the city's many
beer spas to relax for an hour or two.
